Dear relatives,
I couldn’t let today pass without writing to you, so this dispatch is relatively short. As I write, the Moon hanging bright in the sky is already waning, already changing shape. If this letter finds you frazzled, tired, deep in grief, or enraged, I want you to know I am right there with you, feeling it all, too.
Before getting into this week’s writing, I want to let you know that my books are open for March and April. My current offerings are:
Acupuncture and Acupressure: A practice within Chinese Medicine—an indigenous healing system and holistic approach to health and well-being. The roots of acupuncture and acupressure trace back to early texts including the IChing and the Huang Di Nei Jing. Acupuncture sessions are offered in person, and acupressure can be adapted for a virtual session.
Astrology Readings: The birth chart is a sacred map marking the moment that we emerge from the waters of the womb to sip our first breath. It is a companion to our lived experience and an ally in the ever-unfolding story of life. I currently offer three types of readings: the Foundational Natal Chart Reading, the Inner Ecology Reading, and the Tiny Habits Partnership.
If you have any questions or want to chat more about a specific offering, you can schedule a complimentary consultation, your choice of virtual or phone.

I’m always fascinated by first sentences and how they lead me as a reader and listener into a story. A compelling one can hook you, make you want to stick around and see what happens, and learn what comes next. Sometimes, sentences begin quietly but blossom into bold renditions. Sometimes, a sentence lacks root or base and doesn’t land in us with enough energy to sustain attention. Reading and listening to opening lines stretches my compassion, it helps me understand what resonates, and what doesn’t.
The Moon is full, and I am thinking about first sentences and beginnings. I am thinking about how to enter.
By nature, a full Moon is positioned directly opposite the Sun. It will be on an axis between one sign and another, one house and another. The Sun and Moon are on either end of the sky: one star, one satellite, and myriad meanings between them.
During this lunation cycle, Uranus in Taurus is in the mix, squaring the Sun in Aquarius and the Moon in Leo. What shakeups do you see or feel that deal with leadership and the ego? How are you feeling amid the lightning-fast twists and turns happening day after day? How are you moving and shifting as a result? The tension or focal point is the planet Uranus, which fixates the attention on change, upheaval, and liberation. In Taurus, the nature of physical and sensual reality comes to the forefront, illuminating matters related to personal and planetary resources. What feeds you? And, what do you feed?
Mercury punctuates the conversation, tucked close to the Sun, listening for the overall message of this cycle, this arc in a long, long story. And, as Mercury moves away from the Sun, visiting each of the planets and sharing the story of this moment, it will be reshaped along its path, changed by what it learns. It will have more data to discern and more complexity to relay.
Over the next few months, Saturn and Neptune will move into Aries and Jupiter will move into Cancer. As summer peaks, Uranus will move into Gemini, leaving the element of Earth for Air. And, a new cycle will initiate in the sign of Leo.
In the flux of massive changes, I want you to remember this season, this particular lunation cycle. There is a seed within this Full Moon that can teach us how to resist and rebel, and it contains the beginning of something opening on the horizon.
