Dear relatives,
I’ve compiled the most pertinent posts that I’ve written about the science, art, and beauty of the breath. You’ll find a mix of personal and academic essays, and practical applications.
If you’re new to breathwork, here is a brief introduction:
The breath holds immense healing power and can enhance our overall health and well-being. Our ancestors knew how to work with the breath through daily practice, traditional rituals, and ceremonies as a means to transmit culture, healing wisdom, and ecological knowledge. Studies have shown that by practicing consistent breathing techniques, there are myriad physiological and psychological benefits, including reduced stress and anxiety, emotional regulation, and increased immune function.

For this week’s question, I’d love to hear about your experience with breathwork. Are you new to the modality, or do you have an established practice?
With gratitude,
Christian
